The Easy Way to Refresh Your Resume
We've all been there. You're primed to take the next step in your career. Your current role has provided you with great job experience, a new level of understanding, some wonderful new skills...but someone forgot to tell your resume.

When adding your latest position to your resume, it helps to gear it towards your next role if possible. Regardless of how comprehensive and broad-reaching your skills may be, you can't list them all, but you can give extra consideration to the experience that is most relevant to the type of role that you are targeting next. Try using LinkedIn to speed up the process:

Step 1) Search LinkedIn for the type of job title that you are interested in.
Step 2) Note the skills, etc. listed most often by others who already have that job.
Step 3) If you also possess those same skills, use them as a starting point to update your resume.
This is not only a time saver, but it also can help focus your job search by forcing you to think about actual roles and requirements. Of course, only include those skills that you legitimately possess: never lie on your resume because sooner or later, it always ends badly.

Don't forget to submit your resume to The Bravedale Group. Now go get freshened up...
Happy hunting,
